The article presents an analysis of changes in the public space of Lviv that allows subdividing the city into districts according to the typical authorities and the intensity of changes. Nine types have been singled out; and the space of the historical centre, which underwent the greatest changes, occupies a special place. According to the intensity of changes, the second place belongs to the communication public space and the space of new public centres. The public space of residential districts of the Soviet time has changed least of all. Аналіз змін громадських просторів дає змогу поділити їх за характерними ознаками та інтенсивністю функціонування.uk_UA
